| Blind Zelda Fan beats Ocarina of Time |
I was searching around on some Zelda sites today, and happened to come across a very unique story about a blind zelda fan, completing Ocarina of Time. He didn't do this alone, obviously. He had 3 die hard Zelda fans guide him through the game. They literally helped him open a door, and defeat any bosses.
They weren't with him when he did this. They typed every instruction for him, and sent it over to his computer that read everything to him. It took him over 2 years to complete the game, but this may be his best accomplishment ever.
Just think about the patience to do this. Not being able to see the game would be the hardest thing, and to even make sure you had your fingers on the right buttons. I am amazed that he even tried to do this.
If this isn't true Zelda commitment, than I don't know what is. If you want to view a video about this, you can go here. What do you think about this dedicated fan? |

| New staff, and new pages |
Just over the past week, we got 2 new staff members, Lokomo Apprentice, and SearchT. They both will be helping us out on lots of projects around the site. Lokomo Apprentice will be assisting me in the Spirit Tracks Walkthrough, and Spirit Tracks Guides. He already got one of his guides up. You can view his Spirit Tracks Heart Container Guide here. His guide is VERY detailed, and is defiantly work a shot to look at.
The other staffer that we got is SearchT. He will be helping us make some amazing graphics for the site. I can't wait to see how great they turn out. He will also help us with the Majora's Mask guide. I am looking forward to see the guides that he makes.
There has also been some revisions to some of our Walkthroughs. The first chapter to the Adventure of Link walkthrough now has pictures. So if you are still stuck in the game, and need help, you can check it out. There will be more chapters, as well as some helpful pictures to help you beat the game.
So lets give our new staffers a warm welcome! Until next time, adios. |

| Exploding Deku Nut's annual Golden Item Awards |
The folks over at Exploding Deku Nut have finally opened up the voting for the GIA Awards. If you don't know what these awards are, then listen up. There are 5 main categories for the awards, Most Unique Site, Most Stunning Site, Most Aspiring Site, Most Lively Forums and Lifetime Achievement.
They are given to Zelda sites around the community, which means that any site, old or new can be entered. If you wish to register The Zelda Experience, you can go here to find the information. You can nominate as many times as you want for any site, but just to tell ya, it is not vote based. So if you do that 100 times for one site won't make you win.
The nomination will take place from February 15th, to March 14th. Times running out! Go on over and vote for The Zelda Experience! |

| Just another update |
Sorry for the lack of updates in the past week. We have been really busy with other things like homework and school. Despite that, I have gotten two Adventure of Link guides up for the site. These are the Boss and Heart Container guides. You can view those at your own time if you wish.
If you would like to help us out making new pages and guides, you can view the Staff Openings page.
Thank you. |
