The Zelda Experience Updates
Battleship High Scores on August 14, 2010 in Site News
I have recently created a new scoring system for the battleship game, so if you have played an had a high score before, please play again to get your name back on the board. The entire high score system is working much better and is pretty cool. Be sure to check this out if you haven't yet. You can find it at the Brain Bender Zone.
If you recall back when I launched the new layout, I said I would change the images you see on the top of site every month or so. Well, the time has come. Image Set #2 has been created. These are all the bosses from Twilight Princess. They look amazing, and you should try to see them all.
If you have suggestions for future sets, you can leave a comment and we may take your opinion.
The Legend of Zelda: The Dead Lords on August 11, 2010 in Fan Fiction
Today The Zelda Experience has received it's first Fan Fiction story; The Legend of Zelda: The Dead Lords. The author of this story has an amazing imagination, and is an overall amazing writer. Today, I am pleased to announce that Gatherum has given us this story. I have personally read the entire prologue and the first chapter of the story, and I can not wait for the next chapters! The story contains some graphic content that is not suitable for all ages. I hope that everyone takes a chance to read at least the prologue and then the rest of the story. We will be posting new chapters about once a week.
In other news, zeldatwilight has made a weekly poll that everyone should participate in. This poll will contain anything from your thought/suggestions about the site to asking about Zelda games.
No flight in SS? on August 11, 2010 in Skyward Sword
In a recent interview with Aonuma, he confirms that there won't a method of flying within SS. “[Laughs] I hadn't thought of that [Epona as a Pegasus]! You surprised me with that one! Of course, you know, Link does have to travel between Skyloft and the land below, and back and forth, so he's obviously going to have to do that via some sort of conveyance… That being said, I¢d like to reveal that at a later time, so I don't want to give away too much other than to say that he is going to be travelling between the two. However, I can guarantee he's not going to be flying around like [Pit from] Kid Icarus!” So, now there's an other question: How will Link travel from Skyloft to Hyrule? What do you think?
Battleship from Wind Waker on August 07, 2010 in Site News
If you have been a member here, I'm sure that you know about the Brain Bender Zone. If not, this is a good time to start following it. Today, I have finished created a very cool game for it. This is the Battleship game from Wind Waker. (The one on Windfall Island...aka...squid game). This remake takes most of the same functions, and is almost an exact clone. There are a few things that set it apart from the real thing.
So you should go over, and check that out. Its defiantly worth a few plays :)
