Ocarina of Time Heart Piece Guide
Past
Location: Market
You have to come here at night when all the dogs roam around the town. There is a little bar near the entrance. Walk behind it to find a gray dog. Stay by the dog for a little bit to make it follow you. Go to the back alley and into the building on the left. Inside, talk to the lady and if you brought the correct dog, she will give you a heart piece.

Location: Lon Lon Ranch
In the south west corner of the ranch is a grain silo. Go in it and rearrange the crates inside to reveal a hole that you can crawl through. On the other side of it is a heart piece.

Location: Lost Woods
Take the first right in the Lost Woods coming from Kokiri. Jump down the ledge and go over to the stump. Pull out the Ocarina and some Skull Kids will play some songs for you. Play the songs correctly and after 3, they will give you a heart piece.

Once you have Saria's Song, go to the Skull Kid on the first left from Kokiri. Get up on the stump and play Saria's Song. The Skull Kid will like it and give you a heart piece.

Location: Graveyard
Once you have the Sun's Song, go to the 2nd grave on the right in the last row of the graveyard. Pull it back to reveal a hole. Fall in it and play the Sun's Song. This will make a chest appear that contains the heart piece.

Location: Goron City
In Daruna's room, there are some lit torches. Light a Deku Stick and walk around the bottom floor lighting the torches. When all are lit, the giant statue in the middle will move around. Go up a floor and you will find some stairs. There is a bomb flower there. Pick it up and throw it in the statue. The key is to get it in when the Smile Face is looking at you. If you get it right, a heart piece will come out.

Location: Death Mountain
This one can be gotten at both times. As a child, you can go up near the bomb flower to blow the rocks blocking Dodongo's Cavern can be found. Do a back flip and land on the roof of the cavern. The heart piece is located there.

Location: Death Mountain Crater
Walk up to the edge of the until you can't go any further. Line yourself up with the Triforce below and walk off the ledge. If you are lucky, you will grab hold of the wall. Climb down it and you will find a cubby. Inside the cubby is a heart piece.

Location: Kakariko Village
At the top of Death Mountain, ride Kopear Gaebora down to Kakariko Village. You will end up on a roof of a house. Walk to the right and look down. There is a platform that you can land on. Go down and enter the house. Inside the cage with the cow is a heart piece.
As an adult, you can acces this by using the Hookshot to get up on the roof. Then fall down just as you would as a child.

Go to the Bombchu Bowling Alley. Play the game and one of the prizes is a heart piece. Beat the game when it's the prize to get it.

Location: Gerudo Valley
Go across the plank and you will find a chicken. Pick it up and jump off the ledge. Aim for the ledge with the crate across the river. Roll into the crate and you will find a heart piece.

Location: Fishing Hole
Go to the fishing hole as a child. Play the game and the goal is to catch a fish that weighs 10 pounds. When you get one, go to the owner and tell him to weigh your fish. He's surprised that it weighs that much and gives you a heart piece.

Location: Hyrule Field
Go to the fence area near Lake Hylia. In the middle of all four fences, bomb it to reveal a hole. Inside, you will find a Business Scrub. Deflect the nut back to him and he will sell you a heart piece for 10 rupees.

Location: Gerudo Valley
Jump down into the river and go over to the waterfall. Swim behind it to find a ladder. Climb up it to find a heart piece in the cubby.

Location: Zora's River
When you enter the river, you will find a chicken. Take it and work your way up the river. Jump across the big gap and let go. Hopefully you landed on the platform. Then go jump to the pillar with the heart piece.
You can also use the boomerang once you get it.

Right before the entrance to Zora's Domain, you will see a heart piece across a gap. You can use the chicken found at the entrance to the river to get it, or the boomerang once you get it.

Go up to the highest part of Zora's Domain where King Zora is. Light up a Deku Stick with the torch. Take it down the steps and light that torch. Light another one and take it to the water part. Light the other torch here and the last two behind the waterfall. This will make a chest appear containing a heart piece.

Go to the graveyard during the night and you will find Dampee wandering around the graveyard. There are soft patches of dirt around his path. You can pay him 10 rupees to dig once. The heart piece is located here, but it is random each time.

Location: Graveyard
As a child, plant a magic bean in the soft patch of dirt and come back as an adult. A flower will be there. Ride it up and you will find a crate. Roll into it to reveal a heart piece.

Location: Kakariko Village
After getting the Hookshot from Dampees racing game, leave the grave and you will end up in the windmill of Kakariko Village. There is a heart piece on a ledge to the side. You can use the Hookshot to get it or you can ride the spinning platform to get there too.

Once you have the Hookshot, go to the top of the blue roof. Talk to the guy up here and he will give you a heart piece.

Location: Zora's Fountain
Go over to where Jabu Jabu was. There are now tons of ice blocks floating around here. Jump across until you get to the one with the heart piece.

Location: Ice Cavern
Go to the room with the compass. Bring a jar of Blue Fire and dump it on the ice that the heart piece is encased in.

Location: Zora's Fountain
Once you have the Iron Boots, go to the main water of the fountain. In the deepest part, put the boots on and sink down to the bottom. There is a heart piece that is at the deepest part.

Location: Lake Hylia
After you get the Golden Scale from the fishing hole, go to the Lake Laboratory. Jump in the water and dive down to the bottom. Once you touch the bottom, you will hear a chime. Go up and talk to the person to get a heart piece.

Location: Kakariko Village
Collect 50 Gold Skulltula's and go back to the house. Speak with the healed person and he will give you a heart piece.

Location: Lake Hylia
As a child, plant a magic bean near the lake laboratory. Come back as an adult and ride it up. Climb the ladder to the top and you will find a heart piece sitting there.

Location: Zora's River
As a child, go over to the little frogs in the water. They are right next to the stick that sticks out of the water. Go on the stick and play the Song of Storms. They like it to much, that they give you a Heart Piece.

After you play the Song of Storms to the frogs, play all the other songs on the top row of you song list. (Zelda's Lullaby, Epona's Song, Saria's Song, Sun's Song, and Song of Time) They will then challenge you to play the song that they come up with. Just follow the butterfly above each one, or play the following sequence. A, <, >, v, <, >, v, A, v, A, >, <, A

Location: Hyrule Field
Go to the north west part of the field. You will find a tree next to some bushes. Place a bomb next to it to reveal a hole. Inside, put the Zora's Tunic and the Iron Boots on. Sink down and grab the Heart Piece.

Location: Death Mountain Crater
As a child, plant a bean in the dirt. Come back and ride it up to the black smoke. Jump off there and you will find a Heart Piece sitting there.

Location: Graveyard
Once you have the Longshot, go back and play Dampees racing game again. Get to the finish line under a minute and he will leave a Heart Piece for you. To get there under a minute, you will have to use the Longshot to hook onto the torch in the last room. If you don't you will not have enough time.

Go to the building on the right during night. Inside, talk to the owner and he will give you a key. You have to open each door and look for the Key in a chest. If you open the wrong one, you will have to start over. To cheat on this, you can use the Lens of Truth to see what's inside each one. At the end, you will find a Heart Piece.

Location: Gerudo Fortress
Near the top of the fortress is a chest. You can get to this a few ways. From where your cell is (When you get caught, you go here), jump down onto the first platform. Go in this door. Go all the way to the other side passing a very long hallway. Up here, look over and you can use the Longshot to grab onto the chest. Open it for a Heart Piece.

Location: Gerudo Fortress
Go over to the Horseback Shooting Range. Play the game and if you score 1000 or more points, you will receive a Heart Piece.

Location: Desert Colossus
Plant a bean as a child and come back. Ride it and at the end of its path it will go over a stone arch. Jump off onto the arch and you will find the last Heart Piece.
